Ken and I went to Mill Bay today, November 16th, to have a visit with Mother after her recent minor surgery. She is doing well, and getting quite independent, which is a great sign of feeling better. The weather has been fairly good today - somewhat overcast but the sun was shinning this morning, which is a great cheer-up tool for anyone who has been feeling under the weather.

While we were there, Father brought home a parcel from Hong Kong, and we were able to have a look at some lovely gifts and postcards and caught a glimpse of some newspapers etc that had been included in the package.
