Our Excitment on Sunday January 19th

Just north of Duncan, on our way home fromChemainus, these caught my eye, and I wasn't sure what I was seeing at first. We then re-routed around a few roads, so we could arrive back here to stop on the side of the road and take some pictures. I have never seen Rosevelt Elk near Duncan...I know there is a large herd new Lake Cowichan and I am not sure if they have ever been this close to the little city of Duncan.
