Qualicum Christmas Eve

Merry Christmas Eve!

We've just finished watching "Polar Express", have put out our milk and cookies and apples for Santa and the reindeer and have tucked into bed! Santa (via Norad) is in Winnipeg at the moment, so I have a second to update the blog!

We've had a marvelous, unexpected, day in Qualicum after deciding to stay put. We went downtown to buy some chocolates and potatoes for supper, came home and had leftover roast beef. Then we drove around a few blocks to see the Christmas lights and sing carols as loud as we could (I'm sure anyone watching us would think we were nuts...!). Then home to skype Hong Kong, talk to Fort St. John and get totally excited about tomorrow morning!

The kiddies are off to Victoria around 11, and if the roads are good, I'm going to set out to Mill Bay for more Christmas celebrations. I hope our note finds you all so very well, happy and excited with the season. Happy Happy Day tomorrow, we hope to speak with all of you at some point in the morning :)
