Rowan's Medieval Feast!

Yesterday, Rowan's class held their Medieval Feast! After learning about knights and castles and social histories, they've been looking forward to this event:) Jodi has held it every year since 1988 when she first started teaching in Saskatchewan. There was so much food, and the funnest part was ripping apart the chicken and eating with your hands! Rowan dressed as an executioner, but took off his hat/mask to be able to eat. We even had smoked salmon :) The children drew their place settings first, with spots for knives (only!) and goblets on the long pieces of paper we used for tablecloths. Easy cleanup, too! What a lot of fun and the staff room got the leftovers!
