A busy year of sports for Shea and Ro, thought I'd add some photos for you. Ro's bball team improved tremendously this year, looking forward to Grade 8 and new team/coach. Their final game at Springwood was delayed as there was a fire alarm at the school. We waited until it was safe to go into the gym and played the game! Ro played post and had some high scoring games. He's one of the tallest on the team now and has a great shot and quick run/score. Shea's bball team played in two districts - Oceanside and Nanaimo. Great season and they ended up first in Oceanside and third in Nanaimo. Bob and the girls will recognize the KSS gym where we played the Springwood Gr 8s for an exhibition game. Shea's soccer team played their final tourney this month and ended up 4th in the district after a tourney fraught with injury, sleet, hail and snow! All in all a great year of sports for the kids. Now to spring activities!
