Happy Bastille Day (July 14th) We had a grand celebration on July 15th as we were all together for the first time this summer. We invited friends who had stayed with us in Limoux and they brought a bottle of Limoux cremant (sparkling wine which the region is known for) that they had saved since 2008! The cork made it all across the deck, good sign! We had a wonderful french-style meal, had fun decorating the deck and enjoyed french music all evening long. Shea's computer had a slide show of photos from our Eurosummer. A nice reminder of a wonderful holiday and so lovely to be all together in Qualicum.
