The Good Old Daze is a very cool festival at the Mill Bay Centre - Scarecrows. Hosted by the Mill Bay/Malahat Historical Society. Emmett is involved with the organization :) There were many scarecrows scattered throughout the Centre and some we recognized! Pioneer families or inventions canadiennes! One dedicated to the Patterson Family and one to Owen and Jenny Finnegan. Also an old flame of Maman's - Farmer Henry Samuel Hollins who used to drive his tractor close to Sylvania School to get a glimpse of the beautiful young school teacher, Miss Gardam! Papa said a hello to Mr. Bonner and we all voted for our favorites! Well worth a visit next year :)
