Uncle Gerry's memorial service tea

Hello there....here are a few of the pictures taken during the memorial service tea, held after the church service on Monday June 9th, at St John's Anglican Church, Cobble Hill.

The memorial service bulletin - front and back:

Some people I recognized, others I knew their names almost right off the bat, and others I didn't have a clue. I will try to add names where I know them, and I am sure I will be corrected and updated once everyone has had the opportunity to look.

This man [whose name I have forgotten] went to high school with Uncle Gerry in Vancouver, and would often come to Gran's house with Uncle Gerry.

Margaret is on the right. She is the one who used to wash the Gerald Patterson logging trucks on Saturdays, and would often mow lawns at Patterson house [the one next door to the logging truck lot]. The lady with her is Fiona Lawrence. She and her husband bought the house next to Becky's.

Elaine Paterson from Washington State on the right, Kevin [he used to live with Uncle Gerry and Aunty Pat and was often thought of as the Pattersons' third son.

Neil on the left, Scoot [in the blue shirt partially hidden with the window behind him] the lady here is Scoot's ladyfirend, Tina.

Scoot front and left, and you can see Neil in the background. Other faces I can't identify by name at this point.

Kevin and some of the other men who attended the service and came to the tea afterwards.

Left Hand picture: the boy on the far right is Neil and Liz's son.
Right Hand Side Picture: the girl on the far right is Neil & Liz's daughter.

Lois Garnet. Not sure who the others are.

not sure who this is with Louise.

Bill & Heather Gardam

Brain Carr. Yvonne Carr has the plaid purse with her back to the camera.

this is Lauren's daughter Alannah. Lauren is Michael's daughter, therefor this would have been his granddaughter.

Neil [Jean's son].

Peter Walden on the left, Uncle Bill on the right

Andrew Patterson on the right [yellow shirt]. I think the man with his back to the camera is Mr Carr. Elaine Paterson is talking to Mother.

Margaret and her daughter [backs to camera] are talking to one of the Renning girls. Not sure her name, though.

Haven't a clue to names of the people in these pictures, so they come under the category of crowd shots.

After the service, we headed back to the parents house in Mill Bay.
