Happy Bastille Day! What a fabulous fireworks display last night. They set up across the Pond Neuf (the old bridge) over the River Aude, lots of people on both sides of the bank. We stopped for icecream before hand and then joined in the dancing in the square in the place de republiques after. A late happy night! The photos don't give the experience justice, I think, so add explosive noises, lots of ooohs and ahhhs and laughter and clapping!

A quiet day today before we're off again to Carcassone to pick up our rental van for the rest of our holiday starting tomorrow. So much to explore!
