Mother and I had a lovely lunch with Granny Smith yesterday, after checking with Janet to see if see if she needed any help getting ready for the Hong Kong trip and hearing that she was amazingly organized.
Granny was full of vim, vigor and vitality - for about 50 minutes and then she began to tire quickly. Her voice was strong and her outlook very good. She is on her own now, with a few times of scheduled help and her daughter Pam comes to visit for a few days every couple of weeks.
friends dropped off the lovely flowers earlier this week.
