Aspen Guest Suite

Good afternoon from Aspen Guest Suite! Our new tenants are settling in. Jessica is a 20 year old golf student who will attend the full time golf program at Pheasant Glen starting tomorrow. Her mother, Alice, is here and is looking for work for the next few months. They are from just outside Lond, Ontario, dairy farmers. The dad, Neil, drove out with them - four days through the States, and stayed until yesterday. The brother came out with his wife and stayed over the weekend - lots of people in our little suite!

Alice and Jessica are wonderful. They've bought bikes and love Qualicum. It was a race to get the suite ready for them. They arrived two hours early to meet me just coming in from buying last minute things. I didn't get everything in, so gave them a "housewarming" present - a bucket with cleaning supplies! It's been quiet, hear some bumps now and again, but otherwise, it seems just like home for us.

The first week of school has gone well. Both kiddies have lots of teachers as they have scrambled to fit all the electives in with the core course. Shea has drama and multi media this semester, Rowan has woodworking and cooking. This covers all the essentials for home maintenance, so I'm happy!

I'm back on the TOC list and have already been booked for the 20th in Port Alberni. Things are settling into a year of, hopefully, earning, working, learning and having fun.

Here are a few of the promo photos I've taken for the Aspen Guest Suite website which can be found at:
