Dinosaurs and Hats!

Just about 20 minutes north is a tiny little village called Esperaza. We were attracted here by a sign boasting Dinosaurs and rumours of a small hat museum celebrating the history of the artisan trade in the region. We were so impressed at the quality of both exhibits found, interestingly enough, in the same building! Next door was a history of honey museum...! It was a hot hot day and we found shelter in a little outdoor restaurant that had mist coming down occasionally from the roof inside - to water the plants!
lots of hats to try on afterwards - so much fun!
A funny little man helped us form the berets properly...!
pretty hats
singer machines
the former
the steam press, they all start out
white woolen forms

lots of pretty hat boxes
the wool cleaning machine,
then they are carded
Jen and I were reminded of
Aunty Pat
the satin inside
pink cowgirl!
Indiana Jones 17...?

ooh la la
very pretty hats

And now the dinosaur museum next door!
the unicorn dinosaur for Shea!
t-rex Sarah and Ro, the exhibits were fab!

triceratops behind

yikes!
